Third in a series of "Ships of Critical Role". 17 x 22 ", acrylic on watercolor paper; this one was almost old school. This approach has its own challenges compared to canvas, but the greatly reduced amount of storage space and improved design transfer (sketch it, print it, whatever.) more than make up for the added difficulty. After transferring the design in pencil from the cartoon, did a layer of Golden Super Loaded Matte Medium, followed by a layer of normal Golden Matte Medium. The paper will relax back to normal after a day, at which point you can paint it with no warping.
