Josh's Monster Pack Volume 2

Selected interior illustrations from multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator Josh Friedman's (http://joshfriedmanguitar.com) Monster Pack (Volume 2). The Monster Packs are an ongoing series of original compositions for guitar and ukulele, aimed at younger and/or beginner students. Monsters, classics and newcomers alike, are chosen by students, which is a great exercise as an artist - you never know what kids are going to come up with, and some of their ideas can be a big challenge.

Early dev provided to the client pointed to primarily simpler line art styles; ultimately, in many cases I ended up sparse, almost like a coloring book page. This also provided some continuity with the work from the previous artist on Volume 1 of the Monster Pack. The illustrations are a mix of analog and digital; in most cases I ended up digitally inking the illustrations, though in a couple cases I chose to print blue lines and ink with brush and nib, if a piece needed a more organic feel.
